Today's Comic Will Be Late

I apologize, but today's comic will be late. Don't worry, though. I'll get it up soon. It is, however, a "no comic for today" comic, so it's not like you're missing too much. I'll try to get it up as soon as possible, though.

Lateness

Circumstances mostly beyond my control have determined the following:

1. Tommorow's (Wednesday) comic will be several hours late.
2. This hopefully won't happen again.
3. I am stupid.

Once again, I apologize.

A Couple Things

I have several things to note now. Firstly is that I now have a basic design for the upcoming site, though it's not in any useable form (read: it's drawn on a paper and I'll eventually actually use it). Secondly, when the new site comes up, there'll be a Google searchbox on the front page to help you find stuff in the comics, should the need arise. This is a benefit of the new transcript system. And finally, today's comic is Sam and Eli's 96th Comic. This means that Sam and Eli's 100th Comic will be in 4 comics. That's pretty sweet.

The Saga Begins

Today's comic marks the beginning of a Long Saga of DOOM™. I actually have this planned out and I think it's gonna be awesome. I hope you enjoy it.

Google Ads Added - They Don't Make Me Any Money, Really

I've added Google Ads to the blog. Why? Because these ads absolutely do NOT make me any money when you click on them. Nosiree. They're just there for no reason. Or something.

Buffers

I am attempting to build up a buffer of comics so that I can conceivably slack off for a day or so and have the comic still update. I currently have a two-day buffer. That is, I already have comics set to update for tommorow and Friday. I shall attempt to keep this buffer, and possibly even enlarge it.

New Transcript System Complete!

I finished the new transcript system. It is much more elegant than the previous system. I'm currently testing it. Updates as they become available.
Update: I seem to have been bumped to the end of the update queue. A POX BE UPON KEENSPACE'S BIZZARE QUEUEING SYSTEM THAT BUMPS ME TO THE END OF THE LINE ALMOST EVERY HOUR!
Update 2: WOOOOO IT WORKS! Now to set about migrating all the old transcripts over to the new system. That'll take like 20 minutes.
Update 3: Okay, got it all migrated and uploaded. Now to let it process through the update. Once it does, enjoy!

Updates Have Returned and I Might Redo the Transcripter

OH CRAP!
Guild Wars is really cool. That plus my ADHD, terrible oral surgery of doom, and my laziness resulting in no updates here for a long time.
These have been remedied in that I'm updating again. I'm really sorry about that.
Additionally, I'm going to try to force myself to get the new transcript system done today. It should be quicker, more compatible, and some other nice stuff. While I won't promise that I'll get it finished, I won't let myself play Guild Wars until I get something done on it. That's a start, at least.
