Mistaken!
It seems that the ads and text between the comic frames are due to the way I coded the site template. I'll fix that shortly. I may still change hosting providers, as this would give me some more freedom in building the site. For now, though, I'll keep here.
Incidentally, if anybody out there would be willing to help me roll my own webcomic script backend thing, please let me know.

oooo that happened to me too when I coded my site wrong. It doesn't stay that way though. You really do have 95% complete control of the site. I managed a way around it.
